Benson Chau, CFA, Vice President and Portfolio Manager, joined STW in 2005. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Opus Investment Management, the investment arm of Allmerica Financial Corporation. Ben spent ten years with Allmerica, where he managed general account fixed income assets for its insurance subsidiaries and separate accounts for external clients across a variety of mandates. Earlier, he was an investment banker with PaineWebber. Ben earned an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 1991 and a BA in Computer Science from Boston University (magna cum laude) in 1988.
